What do you have speaker wise in the rest of the car and will it be overshadowed by the lows coming from the rear?

Front stage will be 2 Eu-700's in the door doing midbass, and a set of 6500s in kicks. All those speakers will be getting 200 watts a piece...should be plenty loud

im not sure how you are doing your ohm calculations, but if you are doing 16 speakers per ch, aka 8 in parallel then two sets of 8 in series, your only putting a load of .0625 ohms on your amp, basically a dead short... hope im wrong here but that would definately make your amp go *poof*

each dual 2ohm sub series'ed (making 4ohm per sub)...8 4ohm loads wired in parallel makes .5ohm.....2 .5ohm loads (each row of 8 subs) wired in series is 1ohm....

And I drive through Minneapolis at least once a month tekniq. Home=Grand Forks, ND...me=lives in Iowa...yay for 8 hour drives. There's a reason my baby has 20k miles.

acrylic should work. i have a 2 foot section that i was going to use for something else and its a 1.5" diameter and strong as hell. Im sure you have your sources but www.selectproducys.com is a really good place. They also have solid aluminum bar or aluminum pipe.
