adding amplifier

Default adding amplifier

I have a 2006 Scion tC. I want to put an amplifier to the stock unit using a RCA converter. Any idea how to make the connection. the way i put it radio works but the CD dont.

sounds like the remote wire for the amp is hooked to the power antenna, which is why it works with radio and not cd.

cd should work either way amp shouldnt bother the cd portion of the radio

the power antenna is only powered when the radio is on, so when the CD player is on no power to turn the amp is what i was saying. It happen to someone in my local scion club, we just switched what the remote wire power source
