After Market Steering Wheel...
Was thinking about doing an after market steering wheel.. I see the momo "adapters" for sale, but how easy is the install? Or how difficult I should say, And how do you hook up the horn? Any info greatly appreciated.

and how illegal? why very illegal. you know why, you will no longer have a driver side airbag, and as soon as you get pulled over or hve to go for inspection you fail, or get a fix it ticket or whatever.
so unless your tc is a showcar, forget about replacing the steering wheel. it is a very pointless mod anyway.

I didnt ask about legality of the steering wheel. I asked about the install and what not. I had a MOMO that already came installed on my previous car, and I never ever got any tickets or any thing for it, yes I had to pay to get my inspection done privately, but I never had any tickets for it, so anyways, does any body know about the install? k thanks.

the install is easy, you just have to make sure to disconnect your battery and all that so the air bag doesn't deploy, Not saying it will but i heard of accidents with this, Just buy the kit for the car and its done fast.
I did it to a track tc that my boss owns and it was quick.

it's a little difficult for first timers. i had some trouble at first, but thanks to the many wonderful people here on SL i got it done. They have NRG quick releases and hubs that might be cheaper than the momo. that's what i got on my car...

Thanks so much leggsbro. I thought maybe it was me for a moment. But then I noticed the guy who made the comment claims to be 31 years old.. lmao. No offense, but I hope I drive somthing better than a tc and don't sit on forums and bash people when i'm 31. lmao.
