Well since your new, i'll give you this, but most will say to Seach. Sounds like the dealer is just trying to rip off another woman. Pioneer D3 is a good choice for a price around $600. Has Nav, and bluetooth capabilities.

I mean if you don't have an iPod yeah maybe the Avic-D3 isn't for you. I just leave my disk in and use my iPhone all the time.

Yeh but how often do you really need the nav? Most of the places you go everyday you already know how to get there. I dont like that the screen is smaller on the F-Series.

the pioneer units have a lot of features sure but they sound bad and their screen size is small and their intuivity (word?) is bad. alpine has all those 3 nailed down flush.

Most will fit. You just have to re-drill the holes for the brackets in order for the door to close.
