Airbags and TV's
OK so today I was looking at the passenger seat and was trying to think how the airbag would deploy. Usually on most cars there is like a cut out vinyl piece that pops off when the airbag deploys, what happens to our scions?
Anyways my question is, Is it possible to mount a 7" Moniter, Like a Liliput right above the glovebox? Or would that be dangerous with the Airbag?
Thanks for your assistance in the matter.

Airbag disaster. That would put the monitor through someone's chest if it deployed. Even if the airbag doesn't deploy up at the top, At the rate the bag deploys, no matter where it is, if it is the vicinity of that monitor, you run a great risk of killing someone with it, including yourself.
Yeah I figured that it would be something extremly risky and dangerous. The reason why I asked about it though was because of the picture from the Nitto TC. It has I believe four gauges built in the same exact spot as I was thinking a Moniter could go.
Thats why I was wondering if it was a safe possibility. Well Thanks for your Help. Appreciate it.

i was listening to opie and anthony on the way to work and they were making fun of the spanish doods on pimp my ride who barely speak english and they go "yeah meng we replaced your airbag with a monitor, so when you gtet in an accident you can see the accident while it happens!" i was laughing my ___ off.
There is a guy in one of the clubs I am in that thinks he knows about cars but really doesn't that is doing something similar to this. It is so funny watching him screw up his car one mod at a time. If I remember correctly, this is for a 17in LCD.
