im having a small problem, my alarm wont chirp sometimes and i dont know why. ive realized that it mush have something to do with my h.i.d's . whenver i run them for a good length of time and go to activate the alarm it wont chirp , but then when there not on im good to go , wtf i guess i should jus take the car to the audio place that did my alarm

 

Where's the power to the speaker, is it right to the battery? If so check to see if the wire runs next to the HID wires/ballast. If so try moving it away.

 

did u install the hids before or after the alarm? most places have a lifetime warranty on the install so if you installed the hids first bring it back to the shop and the work should be free.

 

the alarm should have nothing to do with ur lights, only if u have ur lights on and set the alarm, maybe because the lights draw alot of current, ur siren does not get a full 12 volts and does not chirp, if its a d.e.i alarm (viper, clifford,hornet) sumtimes they just miss there chirp its normal if its not frequently

 

alarm was installed after the h.i.d they were done at 2 diffferent shops
