i was getting ready to install my alarm today and i had one question about the wiring. i have the hornet727t (oem keyless entry upgrade) and i was wondering if i have to conect the door lock inputs and the light flash inputs since the keyless entry already locks and unlocks my car when i press the button.

 

probably not (you dont want to quadruple pulse, since the stock alarm single then double pulses

then you add the add on an extra set of flashes and pulses

 

i would think you have to hook up the door lock inputs. how else is the hornet going to know that you want the alarm armed. when you lock the door, it will tell the hornet to arm.

yes you have to. The alarm will have to know when there is something going on with the door locks so that it can react accordingly. As for the light its up to you but it is not a must.
