Default another cup holder LED question >.>

I have searched and searched but couldnt find exactly what i was looking for, so I'm gonna ask it :X

Is ONE LED good enough to illuminate the two cupholders in the front, they are kind of connected so I'm assuming that light will pass through fairly well. I have an auto but I installed a custom shift boot so now I have no use for the shifter light. It is kind of just sitting there under the dash and stuff. I was planning to replace that light with an LED(#74) and drill a whole in the cup holders to put the LED in (of course). I'm a total noob at wiring so.. I don't even know where to start if I were to install my own led in the cupholders.

So so please help D:!

Thanks!

The LED kit has one light in each cupholder. I dunno if a single #74 bulb will light up the whole deal. You could always buy another socket and daisy-chain a second one on there.

I mainly use only 1 Cupholder, the other cupholder i put my little Scion IPod/Cell Phone holder that came with the car, So is one LED good for 1 Bottle?

And if its not enough, where do i buy this socket and how do I daisy-chain

i dont know what the hell dasy chain is, but you should put them in parallel, they will turn on at the same time and have the same power, if you put them in series they may be dimmer.... i just replaced a stock neon system with street glow reds and the cupholder was the hardest part, simply cause i had to find the right button led to look right, but once you do, its as simple as drilling and wiring to a power source/switch, as far as if ones bright enough for one bottle, well... sure, it depends on how bright you want it tho, itl glow a lil bit tho
