so i installed the avic d3 in my tc and it was great except for one part...

i bought the ipod interface and plugged the ipod nano in and it played and worked fine

however, i wanted to switch to the ipod video so i can play videos also and so i went out to buy a 5th or 5.5th gen ipod 30 gig black and when i plug this ipod in the Avic D3 displays the ipod screen, charges the ipod
and it says

Ipod Ready


however i cannot do anything else... wtf?!?!?!?

its on update 1.3.... do i need to downgrade?

 

set it to TV out

 

^^^ x2 and make sure it's set to NTSC not PAL for best resolution

 

TV out like said above and you have to start the video from the ipod but can then control it from the radio.
