Anyone Dye their headliner?
I was wondering if anyone used one of the aerosol vinyl sprays to dye their headliners black? I know people wrap them, and i was looking to wrap mine as well. However i was wondering if anyone had any experience with Dying their headliners and if they had any pictures to go along with that.

i painted mine black, looks great. You have to know how to paint really good tho. It is really easy to make ____ look darker in some spots.
No pictures, way to lazy, sorry man.

okay well whats your solution to all the plastic pieces? I have been wanting to do my headliner and pillars in black for so long but all the plastic pieces (handles, visor mirrors, etc...) are the only thing stopping me

autozone sells duplicolor interior & vinyl spray for $6 a can. get 4 cans.
i did my entire xB in black. i did the headliner and visors and all plastics with 6 cans.
spray evenly, do not soak the headliner. eventually you'll have an awesome black headliner with stock fabric.
best to do in sunlight, let dry for over an hour.
try it, if it doesnt work out, then wrap it....

I think it looks pretty high in quality. It's what I was going to use when I was lookin to do it. All the plastic pieces are the only thing that kept me from makin an order lol

just remember once you do one coat to do another coat after that. because it looks nice and dark black after one layer but if you take any pics of it, something to do with the flash it makes it look like its just dirty and patchy until you do a 2nd coat.
