Default Anyone Interested in MDF Speaker Baffles for there tC????

Just testing the waters to see if anyone is interested in purchasing something like this. I know alot of people will upgrade there speakers so you will need some sort of Baffle no matter what. MDF is alot stronger and less resistant to vibration than the plastic baffles they sell in audio shops and places like Crutchfield. If you let me know some specs of the speakers I can make them to fit and sell them with nuts and bolts for probably $10-15 maybe including shipping. Also will be water -resistant. Let me know. Thanks everyone.

I'd do it. I've used a makeshift MDF bracket before...and it worked very well. Nicely made ones at a good price would probably be a popular item.

Definately a great idea, I'm sure they would sell easily at a price like that..

OK guys I can make them for sure. One thing I am sort of worried about is the fitment to each brand of speakers. I don't want to sell you guys these Baffles and the fitment to the speaker is crap. But I think most 6.5s are generically the same size(Frame Wise). I think this weekend i'll make an extra set and let one of you guys test it out and let me know how it fits. Looking at about $10-15 for the front set Baffles and $10-15 for the rear set as well. Not sure if that will include shipping but if not add like 3 bucks each set to ship.

You still thinking about making these? I sent you a PM awhile ago about them but you never responded. I'd glady pay $20 for a set shipped.. I dont have the tools to make them myself.

the plastic ones fit just fine. just break off the 2 tabs that you don't need (actually only one of them gets in the way). i got 2 pairs for about $20 including shipping from cardomain. i only did the fronts and from what i've read, the back is just the same so it should be no problem at all.
