Do this open the door and turn the car on with the AC off then turn the AC on if it rattles when you turn the AC on check your cooling fans. I had a wire fall out of its holder and was rubbing on the fans blades...

I hear ticking, no rattling. I can understand where he came up with rattling tho, mine ticks fast for a bit, then settles down. Kinda like a water leak running out...

mines not a wire issue. I came to believe that its metal cooling down and causing the "creaking" or ticking..

My car ticks for while after I shut it down. Its the metal cooling most likely... IE Manifold, Header ETC

yes, this happens beause of the change of tempature. Metal expands when its heated, and contracts when its cooling.

so its the engine cooling off and all the metals contracting and what not. Totally normal for any car.
