Default Argh! Pioneer 7700MP radio won't eject CD!

Dangit! I had the Pioneer P7700MP Headunit and recently it is getting more and more difficult to eject CDs. Now, it barely peeks out and I have to use a hard CD booklet to take the CD out. Any suggestions? They are almost 2 years old.

I don't want to have to buy a new head unit if I can save this.

may try to unplug the deck (from the back) without a cd inside it. then plugging it back in and turning it on. im not too shure as to how much thatd help but its definately an idea. i only had one problem with the tray ejecting on my 8600 and its only been about 2 years also, so if all else fails maybe a warranty?

I used to have this problem all the time. I used to unplug the negative battery cable for a little time. Maybe 30 sec to 1 min. then put it back on and then try to eject the cd and it would work. you could also try pulling the radio fuse also. same concept but not as effective. unplugging the unit should work also, just more hassle.

I'm on my second radio now, the first one ate a CD one day. My replacement has done the same thing. *sigh*

So unpluging the battery cable might work?
