Are there and tech articles or post on how to remove the armrest on the tc?

 

Why would you wanna remove the armrest?? Sounds weird to me sorry..

 

There is one for the short shifter install that includes removing the whole center console.

are you going to replace it with something?

 

if you want to just remove the armrest part, i belive there is 2 screws that holds it down, but then you will have the storage spot exposed

 

See this is what happened. There was a problem with my immobilizer system and I took it to the dealer.
all the dashboard and center peices came off.
But when it was put back together parts wher the shifter and cup holders are didnt line up right.

 

two 10mm screws undrer the carpet in the center console..
take off shift ****...
pop off panel around shifter..
cup holder panel pops off next .. careful... it needs to be fanessed out..


but thats about it.. should be fixed if you take your time...
