Default Armrest Power Outlet stopped working

Has anybody else had this issue? The outlet inside the armrest just stopped working on me. I checked the fuses, all is good to go, and there are no other electrical malfunctions that I am aware of. Just thought I'd ask around before I rip everything apart to chase the open circuit. Thank!

I'd just pull up the center console (it's not difficult at all) and check the wires. Could have come unplugged maybe? Don't know. But that's easy enough to check.

Ya, but you never know if there was anything done recently in that area... it's a long shot, but you never know. Even a short shifter install could mess something like that up if it's not connected correctly.

I know when the power outlet died in my center console, the radio and the side view mirrors had died too. Check the ACC fuse, it's a 7.5 mini amp located in the drivers side footwell. I popped in a 10 amp fuse and hasn't blown out since. Hope that doest it for you.

All the fuses were good. I pulled off all the covers on the center console and began tracing the wire. As far as I could tell, there seems to have been a broken wire somewhere deep in the dash. I ended up cutting the positive wire and reconnecting it to alternate power source. It's good again!
