Need some help/advice.

Im frankly not happy with the Tc's audio setup. I have the stock hu with the bazooka sub and its not what I had expected. The crossover on the bazooka is so low that you get almost nothing out of it. Here is what I want to know

1. I was referred to the elemental designes stealth setup for a sub, and have since seen that some have bought the box and put a different sub in - in terms of value and someone who wants some bump without being obnoxious - what should I do.

2. I realize that the stock hu basically wont do a good job with an external amp - I would like a double or 1.5 din hu for looks. Ive seen several with screens and even one with an included tom/tom navigation setup - anyone have any advice here. Trying to keep this whole project around $1000 so not too high here.

3. I dont like the stock speakers too much either - they seem to have some distortion and I figure if were going to drop some cash why not replace them or some of them - any advice here.

4. Finally - what value minded amp should a fella run all of this through. Im trying to keep this at or around $1000 - so any advice on a good amp thats not going to break me.
