6x9's and 3x6's will not fit in the tC.

this i know i am leaving the factory speakers in and adding the speakers mentioned above somewhere in the trunk. i just want to put them because i have them from my sunfire, and i dont want them to just sit.

the question is...should i add an amp if i ADD these 4 speakers to my exsisting stock system, or can i just run wires from the exsisting speakers to the 4 that i want to add?
i am not replacing the stock speakers with these, the stock speakers stay aswell.

thanks david

When it comes to audio, more is not always better. I'd leave the system as is, or sell those speakers and upgrade the HU in the tC

^^ agreed.... sell what you have and upgrade the existing speakers with an amp and add a sub and amp... it'll be MUCH cleaner and sound a lot better than simply adding regular speakers in the trunk

As far as I know, there is none. The head unit powers all speakers... In the case of the sub, I believe it has its own amp built into the box.

^^ very true, but there is a JBL upgraded speakers kit that comes with 4 interior speakers and a 100 watt amp... It's only available in certain regions...

The amp for it I believe is under the seat. but the subs amp is inside the sub box...
