Was it difficult to install the 3200dvd? What about the BT module?

Thread revive! Just looking for help cause im thinking about getting either the 3200bt or the 3300bt which I'm pretty sure are really similar. I know I have to get the scion tC DD kit and an ipod attachment for my ipod but will I need any other harness/wire kit? Any help is appreciated and if anyone has any of these head units will you tell me if you like it? Thanks!

usually depending on where you buy it, they include the wiring harnesses; and you will need one as most headunits vary from the plug n play harnesses to the unit

Well I'm thinking about getting it from here
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...H-P3300BT.aspx
So i dont think they will supply the wiring harness considering its a universal head unit not just for scions? This is my first head unit swap so im just learning as I go. Thank you!

Sweet I'm getting the DD installation kit from their, the metra 95-8202 which i HOPE allows me to close the door (anyone?). Do you know which wiring harness I would need to get this to work? I've searched and found some for $40 bucks but i hear of some that go for $10 or something? I've also already found the remote I'll be syncing to it for less than $20 and the ipod audio/video from ebay for like $10 shipped. Is their a possibility to also be able to use the ipod plug-in in the center console of my 08 tc? I actually havent checked on this. Thanks for the answers btw really helping me out on this guys.

i actually used the factory brackets and drilled a hole a little off from where the factory spots were so that i could close the door on the 'waterfall'. and wiring harness for the deck itself will come with, you will just need the vehicle specific one for the tc that isnt very much at all. and nope the cernter consol ipod plug in wont work unless its for the factory deck. you can ge tthe cable and run it under the center console and drill a small area in your arm rest storage area for it to run in there if you'd like

True. Ill probably just plug it in and stick my ipod in the cubby. About the wiring harness do i search for a pioneer to scion harness? Or is their a more specific one of the model of the head unit and maybe for the model of my car or something.

nope the wiring harness for the pioneer deck itself comes with. you'll just need a wiring harness for whatever year tc yu have....so like 05-10 scion tc

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...a-95-8202.html this is the 'dash' kit lol its just 2 pieces on each side if you want them (just fills the tiny gaps on each side

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...a-71-1761.html
and here's the wiring harness.
