Avic-D3 Install in 08 tc.

Ok i just placed my order for my d3 and it should be in on Wednesday. My question is for installation where do i put the gps antenna, the 08 has the Side airbags so i dont think i can place it there. Any tips?

you can put it atop of the air vents when you take out the center console. thats what i did when i had to do an install..

i put mine behind the pasenger side a pillar.
No problems at all and works great

? i can help out if you need any. i have the d3 installed myself w/ reverse cam. i put my gps antenna on top of the center vents.

yo iceman, post some pics once you're done..I'd like to get ideas on where to put the antenna too...I'm planning to get one also so let me know how it works out for ya.
