best buy employee discounts are amazing for most electronic stuff.

 

They're even better for warranties. I used to work at a Sam Goody, and Best Buy took over it for a few months, so my employee discount applied at Best Buy stores. I got a 27" Sony Vaio (piece of crap TV btw) for only $380, regular price was $550. Plus I got the 4 year warranty for $4, I think regular price on that was $60.

Thats why you have your FT job, apply at BB/CC seasonal, (employee discount kicks in faster when you're seasonal), fully deck out your home/car then put in your two weeks Or just buy online and skip all the overhead.

Quick question, does the D3 have any kind of gauge support?

 

installing my D3 on Sunday, hope it goes well. First electrical mod to the car lol i hope its not that hard.

 

carbon.. it has a few built in gauges that meter, speed, voltage, lat and longitude g force, acceleration, braking, time and direction (n,e,s,w). but as far as external gauges, none that i know of.

solder is always the better way

solder and heat shrink over it. then use loom over it then heat shrink the edges if possible

Another question, can i use the stock 08 ipod connector? I dont feel like buying a new ipod wire, and i like where my ipod connects to, in the armrest.

 

nope. you have to get the specific cable for the d3 unfortunately.

 

Damn. Hmm anyway to wire the new ipod wire into the armrest? or do i have do some cutting.
