Avic D3 Installed
keep in mind also you would have to ground the parking brake lead as well. i dont see how it would hurt, but imo it seems like more work, and a bit more difficult to reverse if you did it. cause youd have to find another ground in the dash area (there are a few) and ground it there i suppose. but yes theoretically it should work.
Okay first off, I've had the D3 for a long time and I love it, so when I hear negative things about it it bothers me, exspecially when people just dont know how to use it.. and the biggest thing that bothers me, is when people say, i get that stupid screen when i try to watch a video off of my ipod and it just wont work. And then they say what a waste of a iPod ready HU. Well here's the deal people, you have to go on ur ipod. go to the video, mess with the settings. and there should be a T.V. out setting or something, i forget with out looking, and u have to turn it off if it's on. and if it off, then turn it on. I dont know with out looking. but thats what u have to do. and it'll play ur videos on the screen!!!! Go try it out people. Thanks alot guys.. -Matt-
ok so its christmas and i just got the D3, super excited. ive read all about getting it to fit and bypassing it. Ive been wondering about hooking up a ps2 slim but am confused on how to do that. Is its pretty easy to do? and how do i go about hooking it up? and suggestions would be great
im thinking about buying the D3 from crutchfield sometime this month. There is the package that has the AVIC D3 bundled with the Ipod connector and the Bluetooth. I heard that the Camera is supposed to come free, but it doesnt say so in the Cart. Also, I dont think i'll be able to install the D3 myself once I actually get it. Does anyone know where a good place to get it installed would be? (Anywhere is Orlando/Gainesville Area)
if you pay for my trip jager from san jose to orlando ill do it

I just got the avic d3 and i was wondering if anyone had the instructions from crutchfield or a good write up to work from. Im moderately knowledgable about the stuff but just want to do the best job in the shortest amount of time this weekend. Ive looked around and havent been able to find anything too indepth. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks a lot guys...
