Avic-d3 and ipod video question

I 'm looking at purchasing both the Avic-d3 & the ipod video,but what i wanted to find out was can you view your photo's on the HU and if so can you watch them as a slide show?

I tried playing the games off the ipod, but that didn't show on the D3 Screen.

as long as you have tv-out enabled it works

videos definitely work from your video ipod on the avic-d3.
