so 3 months ago i tried 2 b cool and paint my headunit black. came out bad. i sanded primed and spray painted. tried to use clear coat but it came out fuzzy n cloudy(if that makes sense). now i sanded again and primed again and painted blue this time. but u can see the sanding marks virtically. go up n down. kno how to get rid of em? n e 1? god this is alot work

what kind of paint?
I used Duplicolor Black on my GF's waterfall, no clear coat.. looks good to me.
defenitly use duplicolor, only spray I will use now..

I thought it would be ok to use rustoluem and I completly f'd up my GF's plastic engine cover lol.
It looked like chit hazy and cloudy like you said, so i just sprayed blk duplicolor over it, I still have to fix it

lol. u guys r jokers. i pulled off my headunit and the plastic piece around the shift ****. i used krylon paint this time(so much better) then waat i used last time rustoleum. ima post pix tomm mornin. i got built-in avic x910bt navi. if someone ever painted thier radio....wow

Yeah... if you get 2k grit, wetsand, then wax/buff it it should be fine.

Im saying for me lol, i painted mine flat blk w/ no clear coat and in some spots its kind of rough so im thinking of sanding and waxing a little but i dont want the paint to come off since i didnt clear it..idk if it will or not..im a painting noob..
