No - This is not an "omg i disconnected the battery and now my windows are possessed" thread.

The problem is my driver side window no longer has the option to put the window part way up. It only works on the 2nd *click* that engages the auto-up. Passenger side works just fine.

Anyone else have this problem? Think ordering a new switch for the driver's door would fix it?

get it tested.

first problem i had with my tc was the passenger side window wouldn't respond to either window switch. dealership said it was a "bad master switch" and replaced it under warranty. don't know about your problem though.

 

I suppose I can get off my **** and meter it myself. Just have to figure out which leads go to the window motor and see if it passes 12V+ when i pull switch halfway up
