Battery or alternator upgrades

Who here has done an upgrade and if so what brand/model did you get?

I changed my battery over to the yellow top. I didnt change the alternator, but did put a 25 farad cap in there as well.

IMO, start by upgrading your alternator. capacitors doesnt do anything but add more load on your alternator.

unless you're playin your music at car shows, then upgrade the battery

i just wish i could find a trustworthy place that sells or makes a high output alternator for a tC... any body know if the camry's alternators the same size?

i dunno, prob. best bet. go to a cartoys or some audio shop in your area, and ask them to do some research. i'm going to upgrade my alternator pretty soon.

Yellow Top D34/78 battery...fits perfect.

i might be checking out this place in my town who specialize in the electrical aspects of cars and have been reccommended by a lot of people.

hey jimmy, i just called them. they said they'll custom make it only on domestics, not imports.
