Default Bazooka sub problem

I just installed the bazooka sub in my TC. At the connection of the sub there is a problem where it is not making a good connection and I have to pull the harness to the side and it pops on. So they are probably going to have to send me a new one.

But my question is...the sub works great but only on the left or right channel and not both. I checked the connections at the radio and they are all good. Do you think the harness in general is just faulty?

hum it should just plug into the factory harness then the other end plugs into the sub. Did someone cut the harness on the radio or sub end??

I put it in myself, and I know I did not cut it. I just went back out there and now it is working. There is a small short somewhere in the line or the connection in the box and the vendor is sending me a new harness to see if that fixes the problem. If not I will send the whole thing back and get a new harness and sub.
