Bazooka VSE Subwoofer for Cheaper Price...
Hey everyone, first let me begin by saying if this is a repost, I'm sorry.
I was searching around and found out that SonicElectronix.com sells the complete bazooka kit for $175. It even includes the harness to connect to the factory HU. For $175 its not a bad price to pay for someone looking to add a little extra bump to their system. I had it installed for about 2 weeks and I really liked it (I took it out to put my 10" Type-R in from my last setup).
If anyone's interested you can check them out, they're a pretty good site with great prices on everything. I've used them three times with no problems.
And for those who are going to comment saying that a custom system will give better results, you're likely right, but I know that there are people are there (like i was) that appreciate the little space it takes up and the sound level it adds to your setup.

This is a great deal compared to other online scion parts prices. Does anyone know if I can hook this up to a after market HU such as AVIC-D3? (I'm a rookie in car audio) Like the above, I love and need my trunk space.
yes you can hook it up to an aftermarket HU. I just recently put my VSE sub into my best friend's Hyundai Accent since I was going to be using my type-r anyways. To hook it up to an aftermarket HU, there are a few options. The easiest way would be to splice into your front (or rear) speakers to give the sub the input. If you have a headunit with an RCA output, it would still be possible, but some more engineering would be necessary :-D.. i'M to tipsy to even get into it
