Just put mine in. Doing the needles slowly since I'm taking 'em apart and repainting the hubs yellow to match. Now if only if would stop raining

What color are you painting the needles themselves? They're lighting up blue, but that doesn't look like blue paint... just curious, 'cause my guage lighting will look the same but I was toying with needle colors (thought about painting 'em white so they light up light blue... if they would...

I'm doing the needles carefully. I've only done the center one thus far with a single coat of Krylon spray, and a coat of white. I also sprayed the hub yellow as you can see.

I've found that it's better not to paint them with a brush as you can see every uneven brush stroke when the lights go on - so i'm spraying them instead.

I'm also dismantling the needle assembly to do the work. There's a cap covering everything and a counterweight in there along with the needle assembly.

I hope to finish up the needles this weekend if the weather is nice. I'll repost when it's all done.
