Viper 5900 or even the 7900 is the way to go, you can't go wrong with DEI, I know, I'm an installer.

Agreed, i'm an installer also, and the DEI units are pretty bulletproof. Although, the lack of features turned me toward Compustar. They are releasing a mile unit here soon also.

do you really need to open the bottle and purge it from outside the car? sounds like a waste of 2 channels to me, but hey, whatever...

Attn. DEI installers.
Question

I have a remote starter (AutoMate 6) installed in my manual tC. From where I from, it's illegal for auto electronic dealers to install these kits in stick shifts. So I installed the kit myself. I even have my factory remotes interfaced to the system.
My question is about the clutch switch. I know that the clutch switch provides a ground for the vehicle's starter relay when activated. I was wondering if it's possible to send that same ground signal to the vehicles starter relay from the neutral position of the stick shift. Has anyone here design a switch for that application?
