My A/C is fine, it does get cooler faster if u're driving on the freeways. My friend is complaining about his tC too, he thinks my A/C is colder than his

Yes, there was a TSB that was put out about a year ago for this. As I would say for any issue for a car this new, take it to the dealer.

Mine fell under the range of VINs for the TSB, but I have never had an issue with mine, even when going back home and driving in 105 degree weather, so I never took it in.

Other than the TSB, you drive a car with an all glass roof. Close all the sunshades and the car will cool MUCH faster.

I heard there is a leakage on our AC. Have a buddy that works doing AC for cars. He said my tC has a leakage.... So I'm going to get a warranty done on it.

^^ They dont all leak.. yours may though. How did he know yours was leaking? Did he use a gas tester to find the leak? Or dye? Did he check it once, then again a week or so later to say there was a leak? Just wondering how he determined this. If you think it is leaking, you can find a shop (go to the dealer if under warranty) and they can use a gas tester to find the leak.

yes all cars since about 1994 use R134a for refridgerant. Another can (if you're up to the correct pressure) won't help.. it will actually cause the a/c to not cool at all, since it will be over filled/over pressure..

The 05's that had the problem didn't have enough r134a from the factory. they filled it at the dealer and most were better after that.. I think things like closing the sunroof shades and putting a windshield sunshade in would help.. but it is an all glass roof plus it's a black interior.. I even have to run with the windows open to blow out some of that hot air before it gets cooler inside..

I see a lot of complaining and that's fine, but how many people have actually had the dealer CHECK the level of r134a in the a/c system, without having the dealer give them excuses and say " no it's kind of cold, we're not going to check it".. etc.. So who has actually had the dealer really look at the cars with problems?? Anyone had them look at it and fix it?

TSB was referring to slow cool down.

If yours falls under the range for the tsb, you could get a copy of it (I think it is linked to here or in the tech section) and take it to a private shop to have the proper amount added. But I would just let the dealer take care of it. I am not sure how much the tsb has helped those with the issue though.
