Theft Prevention
Car theft prevention function prevents the starter from working, if the secret number of times is not pressed. This helps prevent theft by direct battery connection or even by leaving keys in car. Also, even if the car is stolen, it will prevent the car being started again.

Normal Operation
When not needed, it is easy to reset the crime prevention function to allow you to start the engine as usual.

Secret number of times
Possible to make secret starter settings in two groups with up to six times each.

Threatening Blink
If engine is off, the illumination will blink.

Illumination
Lamp emits highly luminous LED.

Switch
Just open a up22mm hole for easy installation.

Easy-to Install
Easy-to-install harness for turbo timers complete with couplers connected (possible to wire directly)

Can be used
Possible to use together with remote control starter and / or turbo timer.

I'm working on something like this.. I'm not sure if it will be plausable to sell it as a kit, or if it would just be something for my self.. I'll keep you updated on it though.

I'm still trying to decide how I want to do it.. it's one of my many projects that are in progress..

I'm thinking though that I'm going to run it off the alarm so it works like the remote start.. or maybe like the key after remote start.. I'm not sure yet, and I need to get back under there before I decide.. give me a week or so and I'll follow up with the final plan..

hahahahha, I know how to do it now check these PDF files out

The Pivot Security Engine Start Button allows you to start your vehicle's engine with a push of a button. Also features a car theft prevention function which prevents the starter from working, if the secret number of times is not pressed. The secret code consists of 2 set of scret number of pressing from 1 to 6 pressings for a total of 36 combinations from which you can choose. This helps prevent theft even by leaving the keys in car. (When not needed, it is easy to reset the crime prevention function to allow you to start the engine as usual)..The highly luminous blue illumination allows for easy nighttime visibility and will also blink when the engine is off to deter thieves. The kit provides everything you need to upgrade to this cool feature. Installation instructions included for an easy install. Made by Pivot Japan.

to work it you need the key in the on position.. I'm going to work arround that though..

I'll see if maybe I can get a wiring scheme drawn up this evening or tomorrow.. a little to tired to do it now, and a little too close to class to sleep

hmmm i know that if you have a remote start you can press a valet switch twice and it will start the car. Thats if you have it prgrammed to do that. But what about the steering wheel lock? Are you going to start the car with the button and then put the key to the on position?

I'd put the key in the on position, and then push the start button, although pivot says they can wire it so you don't need a key, but I'm not going to do that

If you just want it so you turn the key on and then hit a start button its extremely easy to do. Let me know and I can provide you with some more details

It would be sweet to hook this up, in combination with something like the new vettes have, where all you need is a card in your wallet to unlock the doors and start the car. You wouldn't even need a key anymore.

Pivot, the company that makes a switch, has a way to wire it so you dont need the key, idk if thats such a good idea.

What about the computer chip thats inside our key... if the key is not in the cylinder then you would need a 556LW module and put your spare key in that so you can start it. Then what about the steering wheel lock?
