Car Lighter Not working after putting shift boot
Hi,
This is my friend's account and I installed his shift boot for his automatic scion tc. For the people who took the console off already you guys know that the car lighter is connected to it. Well, I was having a hard time trying to fit the boot in the console so I was trying to take the car lighter wiring off the back of the console. We finished his boot and we tried the car lighter and it wouldnt work. I only twisted the bottom part of the car lighter so Maybe I need to twist it back on a little or whaT? because i dont remember twisting it back in place. Thanks for the replies.

when you remove that part of the interior trim around the auto shifter you have to unplug the two lil connecters done in a upside down CAP "L" looks kinda like a 7. When you go to put everything back in, it should go back oin the same way.. no twisting required.... i would pull it back off and check and see if its plugged in correctly...

Well, I dont really understand the part where you said two connectors? are those the light for your PRND2L and the little white clamp that goes onto the back of the console? because those are the only two connected things we took off. Dont you think that wires are faulty? [/quote]
