does anyone know of any way to revitalize, or polish out the yellowing of a carbon fiber engine cover that is beginning to blush??

yea, i knew stripping the clear was an option, just an option i was trying to avoid, thanks though man, wondering if there where any polishing agents that help reduce the look of resin blushing.

Wet sand it, and re-clear coat it.

hey thanks guys, but i work with silmar resin and fiberglass resin alot, and sanding the clear wont work....it is the resin that is blushing, not the clear. I need somebody a little more versed than myself in chemicals and solvents to chime in and let me know if there is a compound that will interact with the resin to cure the blushing issue.

again not being a dick i appreciate the input, but the clear isnt the issue, ya know, thanks.

yea once the resin yellows that's it!... You make be able to sand of a little bit, but no telling how deep the yellow goes...

you can get an UV additive for the resin though for next time... Or make sure the clear you use has a UV protectant...
