Default carpet inside car gets wet..ac problem?

So I think I may have a clogged AC or some other AC related issue...carpet in my car has been getting wet if the car sits for a few hours and a LOT of condensation builds up on my windows also..takes like 15 min to defrost.

Anyone had this problem? I was thinking about taking it in to get the AC flushed but I was curious if anyone else has any insight on if it could be something else.

My tC is only 4 years old and it wets itself..-_-...

if it's just water and not coolant. Heater cores that crack can leak like that and cause moisture inside the car as well. Have you checked the coolant level in the reservoir? Is it at the same level?

If it's not coolant and just water, it's probably the a/c drain hose. do you hear a sloshing noise around the glovebox area too?? It could still be water inside the a/c box and chances are the rubber drain hose is blocked. easy fix, yes others have had this, not all but some have had it.

It doesn't smell or look like coolant..took a water vac to it and it was just water. How do I go about checking out the drain hose?

glad to hear it was just water. The drain hose is in the footwell of the passenger side, underneath the glove box. follow from the a/c box down, you'll find a hose there in the floor by the carpeting. have to pull the carpeting back and then you can wiggle the hose out and clean it out. The hose goes to the outside to drip the water condesation. hope that explains it better
