HELP!!
What on earth are you talking about?
What '*****' are talking about? All you do is....
1. Pry up the Shift Surround piece. (Be sure to put it in "N" first!) Unclip and unplug lighter wire if you want to.
2. Pull off Center Console piece. Just be sure to (A) unplug HVAC Harness and (B) watch out for AC/Heater Duct at the top.
I believe that's all there is to it.

Grab a flat head screwdriver, pliers and scotch / duct tape.
Sit on a couch... put the center console face down on the couch between your legs. This is so you can use 2 hands to twist the plastic part out. Put a couple pieces of duct tape or scotch tape on the plastic part so when the pliers clamp down you wont damage the plastic. Now with your right hand twist the plastic part while lossening the clips with a flat head screwdriver in your left hand. Twist and work the clips at the same time and it should pop out.
