Default change radio security code

I lost my radio security code. I would like to do some work on it so is there a way to change the code, other than taking it to the dealer to have them unlock it.

OEM Scion Pioneers do not have a security code...I know that.

A lot of Toyota truck owners use the Scion radio as an upgrade choice to their OEM and never heard a peep about any codes.
