i tried to search and did not find what i was looking for. basically, has anyone been able to, or if its even possible, to change the way the stock headunit lights up?? i have the 08 headunit and the red is kinda dull for me. i'd much prefer the whitish color to match my gauges.........thanks

 

I believe this might be what you're looking for, it's the older headunit though but i'm sure the process is similar

if you've never done anything like this before..

buy ALOT of extra leds... i bet you'll destroy a few of them... much less lose a bunch along the way.
