cheap deadener possibility?

well im looking for some sound deadener to use in my car,
im looking to do the entire floor of my 06 scion tc. Not to big of a car so im going to get about 100-120 sq feet ( I have about 30sq ft left from a previous install)
i was looking arond and googled "sound deadener" and followed this link

i emailed the guy and he says its butyl based. I know it may not be 80mills but it should be close.
do you think this stuff is legit??
anyone try it yet??
should i do it or get some more damplifier
i DONT want edead since it is asphalt based and I live in texas. I have tried asphalt and it does melt in the summer heat in texas

i don't trust anything on ebay
#2 edead is butyl based and doesn't smell at all. i have no idea where you would think its asphault

you could also try this http://www.fatmat.com I used this stuff in a previous install and it was awesome. Awesomely priced as well.

Is the quality same with dynamat? I was ready to order dynamat but just waited if i could find a cheaper one with same or better quality.
