well i got rid of my stealth box and made a bigger box. i made this all on saturday. i just need to get some carpet.




they arent the best subs but i love em, they kick good sound good and they are een red trimmed so they go with my car.

i also have to hide the amp so i have a lottle left to do. im thinking of painting the whole bottom side with truck bed lininer and just carpeting the top.

 

Now just get a cover for them so you can put stuff in your car and you are set ....
maybe even carpet it?

 

I like it ALOT man...Real clean...But pleaze tell me, did you take out everything from the trunk? Like the rear spare tire???? Im thinkin about doing this.

 

You wouldnt happen to have the dimensions of that box would you??? That would help a lot

when i take it out to carpet or paint i will get the dimessions for you, but to be honest its best to do it on your own to your liking and to the size of your subs. and i did take everything out excet the side foam things i just trimmed them down.

 

so what did you do with the hidden box..

i still have it. i'll let it go for dirt cheap for who ever wants it. only thing wrong with it is that its like 1/4 inch higher than a flush mount. it was made by me, i no longer need as i upgraded.
i also have a sq10 sub for sale but the sub needs to be reconed. if any one is intrested pm me.

if any one can get me a pair a Hella supertone horns i'll trade em for it.




the 1/4 height is not noticable as you can see in the pics.

 

ive allways wondered??? How much does the sound and quality of the subs change when you cover them like in that picture^^^???

 

^well as you can see in the pic i cut a circle in the bottom cover cause it would hit on high bass but now its good and sound really nice. i only got rid of it because a 10" does not compare to two 12"s

nah but ne ways i got them at canal ST(aka china town) for $60 and they fit like original pair and they are almost identical.

So is that an air tight box without any port to let the back pressure out giving you some air suspension on the cones?

 

^yeah its sealed for now, im going to make another one and its going to be ported. i might even start to sell these boxes if i can get a decent number of buyers.

the price would mainly depend of the subs being used are shallow mount or not. it all depends on the depth of peoples subs.

 

B, can I buy your mat that has the circle cut in it? (you know, right where the eD sq10" would possibly hit and tap?)
