alright, i did a search...couldnt find anything.

i have a T-Mobile Sidekick with the car charger. well, the part that plugs into the lighter is a really tight fit, realy snug i guess you could say. this weekend going to vegas i tried pulling it out for like the first time since i've had my car and it didnt want to come out. i realy didnt want to force it becuase i thought i would rip out the lighter jack thing. well...i did. the metal thing came out, its got like two prongs on it that i thought i could just stick back in the hole and have it work again...well, its like the actual wires and stuff fell down deep in the hole and are now inside my dash somewhere.

anyways, i guess i will take it to the dealer and get it fixed since i have no idea how to get into the dash by the Cigarette Lighter, and im not a car person.

just curious if anyone else had a snug fit for their cell phone car chargers...? my moms 98 Chevy Cavalier was fine, never had a problem...maybe the tCs Cigarette Lighter is smaller? i dont know.

for my blackberry i had the same problem... you just need to be careful when taking out the plug... try twisting it next time... since then... i have also just left it plugged into the plug in the center console..... just because...

 

I use the 12 v in the center console and its fine

 

yeah- just thought that it was weird...

the center armrest plug is just fine, but for some reason the lighter is way snug.
