yeap its fairly easy, the only downside is that you can't search for songs, easiest way is to make playlists or organize ur songs by genre so its easy to access certain songs. otherwise you have to scroll around.

havent messed around with it too much, but unless you have a small list of artists, i think it would be kind of difficult as the only way i've seen how to do it is to scroll through until you find it.

if only it had a search function =( it would be the perfect ipod unit.

Does anybody here actually have a MAX675VDII? I heard those are the best for iPod integration.

I have the MAX675VD (pretty much the same as the VDII as far as I know). Let me know everything you want to know. Screen shots?

can you change the color of the ipod interface? I always see only the blue ipod interface. screenshots would be great. are you happy with the HU?

if you want excellent iPod interface....Alpine is the way to go. Panasonic would be second. Clarion third. Pioneer somewhere off in the distance. Alpine FTW though with regards to iPod. Between the Pio and Clar for basic functionality...I'd take the Pio. Just be warned...Pio's iPod interface sucks compared to Alpine.

i can only spend around $650 max so the Pioneer or Clarion are probably my best options

nvm then. forget what i said earlier. definitely the clarion. the Pio's ipod interface will have you ____ed in no time at all. clarion will be just fine for you. you can add on nav later....albeit for like $600 though.
