Clifford alarm not working? suggestions?
So when I got my tc a year ago, it came with a Clifford Intelliguard 750 alarm. With the exception of a siren that didn't work, the system seemed to work fine. I decided to buy a new siren, the exact same i've that is already installed, and replace it do the alarm would actually do something.
Well when I was looking at the alarm brain, I notice there was nothing plugged into the ssps power (self powered siren) slot, which if weird because the siren had actually worked like twice over the course of the last year. while I was looking at it, I must've hit something because I saw a spark inside the brain and began to smell a faint burning. I immediately unplugged the power from the brain and my battery just to be safe.
Now the LED light won't come on and the car won't flash when you hit the car. I'm wondering if I shorted and if i'm out of luck. Funny thing is, the panic mode and the keyless entry both work through the alarm, do I know the brain must be doing something.
Anybody have any ideas? Anyone in the Seattle area able to help?

There should be several fuses on the brain or main ignition harness of the unit. And since it is a security there should be a separate fuse just for the security portion alone. You might have just blown a couple fuses on it, or fried the entire module. But won't hurt to look for those fuses.
