Default CompuStar Alarm Question

I am trying to figure out if there is something wrong with my alarm install. I have a 2w900fm a/s installed on my 5 speed 06 scion tc. Everything is great except the ignition lock/unlock function. In the manual it says that on standard transmission vehicles, the doors will unlock with the ebrake engaged and lock with the vehicle started and the ebrake disengaged. I guess this question goes out to all you compustar owners. How do your door locks behave with the compustar? I should say that the doors do unlock when you turn the car off and remove the key without setting reservation mode. They also lock after starting the car and pressing the foot brake. I guess my issue is with the ebrake. Could they have installed the auto version instead? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks alot!

I paid $600 installed at an authorized dealer. Compustar's waranty relies on it being installed at an authorized dealer, so I went that route although it may be cheaper elsewhere. Anyone else have a compustar???
