Default Console/HVAC light problem

When I turn on my lights, driving at night, the lights on the HVAC go out. If I turn on my emergency flashers, the HVAC lights flicker on/off. I turn off the emergency flashers, the HVAC lights sometimes stay on for a minute or two, and then off they go again. Weird thing is, the stereo lights stay on, no problem, and no other lights (both outside and inside) are affected. Any suggestions? I'm going to take it into the dealer this weekend and talk to them.

Is everything stock there or did you do led conversions? Have you done any stereo upgrades or anything else that involves electrical wiring?

No, it's completely stock. I think it is an electric problem. The HVAC lights seem to react (flick on and then off) when the emergency flashers button is pressed and then released.

Strange. i'd take it to the dealer like you said since its under warranty. No reason for you to did around when they'll fix it for free...

what year model? I have heard of about 4 of these happenings with the 07's.. The board on the 07 is different than the other models. Parts placement is different and a few things were added. The logic is a little different as well in a few areas. (Yes.. I have spent a bit of time digging around on these boards )

But take it to the dealer for sure.

With the number me, squall and the others work on, it will be nice to know if there are issues inherent to some. Definitely keep us posted!
