Use your card anyway then, if it is yours its not theirs, therefore if its not theirs its...YOURS. Do what you want with your stuff. Maybe your parents should look at their lifestyle and why they get their identity stolen because my entire family purchases on the internet as does many people we know and we still have identitys.

if you really aren't using your debit card bc your parents wouldn't like you to, i think that's respectable. it shows that you do respect your parents.

true you're supposed to learn how to be independent and make decisions for yourself, but when you're parents still support you, the decent thing to do is to respect their decisions as long as they're not immoral
