For all those who have custom boxes in their trunk I have a question. Are yall still under warranty from the dealership still and if so do yall think that if you took your car to get rattling inspected they would tell you that its your problem because of the box?

 

they might try to tell you that yes. but nothing can void your entire warranty.

for example if you get a turbo the dealer won't repair your engine under warranty anymore but you still have a warranty for other things non engine related.

if your alternator fried they could blame it on high powered amplifiers if you have them.

 

yeah i kinda figured that i could go back there for other things cause i changed my leds on my gauges and i had to take it back to the dealer to get the srs light turned off and they couldnt figure out how to do it and they ended up putting a new circuit board in their and they never said anything to me.

 

just take the box out

 

yeah i wish is was that easy. The box is the whole trunk and was so difficult getting it in there so taking it out is not even an option
