Would u be willing to sell that program to someone who was looking to do something like that for themself?

 

Unfortunately, the base of the code was given to me by someone as a starting off point, and I'm not allowed to even give it away, let alone sell it. Unless of course you're talking about my skin and not the HVAC controls - if that's the case yeah, I'd give it to anyone who wanted it free of charge.

 

Awh man that stinks! Cause i went to a local custom audio place to see if they could do the same thing u did for me, and they said they could do everything accept the programming for the HVAC haha they were clueless!! Ha

 

Yeah it's pretty serious - anyone with good C programming experience could probably do it. I asked around on the forums and than found somebody on craigslist to help me out. Its also wired into the actual circuit board of the HVAC too so it's not just something you could send out- unless you were to send out the hvac too i guess.

 

I wasnt expecting that to be that complicated. I dont think i can get into all that, even tho it is awsome ha i think ive said it before but props man for doing it, it looks amayzing if u ask me

 

I really appreciate it man. It makes the whole money sink worth it to see people appreciate it and get motivation to do their own creative things.

Depends on who the coder is. These things can get pretty complicated.

Thanks guys I'm glad you all like it. An iPad is like 1/2" smaller so probably with a little bit of filler it would fit in just fine - or actually since there's some dead space around the iPad it might need to be expanded a bit. But yeah it'd fit.

 

So your friend isn't interested in making any money? I know a ton of people that would want this interface and its controls once finished...


I'd pay for it definitely...

Unless your friend took it from somebody else, then there would be no reason for him not to want to release it, or sell it.... We live in an open source world friend, why you being stingy ;)
