Yeah I love the color. It's even more sweet in person. The picks just can't do it justice. Sadly, I forgot to check the toggle lights for the defog/AC buttons before I left that day. They are still amber. I'll just wait til the guy comes back into town or end up trying to figure it out myself if its not too difficult.

i've heard of these.... but how they light up the needle is the same concept as our stock ones.. light behind the needle...

i guess it might be brighter.. but you can't judge light output from pictures... (not unless i see the camera settings for each one)

honestly... is it worth that much money for you to get? ($69.90?!?)

someone should startup another led swap (someone thats not going to steal peoples parts like the last guy) because I am looking to swap mine hopefully the beginning of next year. I am already building up plans for when I take my vacation (next year) and can lay my car up for a week strait.

i have personally been debating on doing this.. but it's quite stessful as it is with the current group i am taking care of. (which is locally, can't imagine having to deal with shipping..)

if there are any plans to expand, i'll resign my mod status and become a sponsor. (it would be too much conflict being both)

honestly... it would be quicker to try and teach people how to solder than dealing with so many people. tips found here:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=61793

the demand for led swaps is much higher than i ever expected when i did my (thought it was going to be small) group buy for leds.

I can solder but once you perform a mod like this once or twice you will deff be able to do it again. The problem im having is this ..... what happens if I mess up? ..hehe. Ive melted solder points off of playstation back in the day. Also - isnt there a way to make the new leds brighter then stock? ....or .... if you swap them wont some of the lights be darker? ...isnt there a current issue like this?

use a higher rated led. Stock are like 100mcd. The most colors above are from 500mcd - 2000mcd. I'm not sure how much this draws from power sources though. I used 500mcd Blue Led's and everything is fine.

the only current issue there is with dimness is with the center console... engifineer has a topic posted up in the tech section on how to fix this.

other than that i haven't seen much problems using the leds i got from lc-led.com... except maybe the blue doesn't like too much heat... i've burned a few of those... (buy plenty of extras!)

actually.. i had one guy tell me his console was too bright.. o.0.. i'm like.. "uhh.... yeah..."
