I wanted to put some videos on a cd and play them in my D3..
i used Nero Vision, created a video cd, converted all the videos to DIVX, then created the disc w/ a title menu

I put it into the D3 and the cd does not appear...

Why is this? What can i do to make the videos work?

 

im not forsure, but i think it has to be in a dvd format for you to be able to play it on the d3

 

yea im pretty sure the d3 doesnt play divx

 

i have a question. i had a pioneer avd dvd player in my car with a switch installed to bypass the lock to watch dvd's while i drive. i swapped it out for the avic d3. now... when the car is on drive but not moving i can watch the dvd, but when the car starts moving the warning pops up without the 'ok' button to bypass it. do i have to have my switch reinstalled, or is there a option on the dvd settings where i can fix this?

 

i grounded it to the parking break so it thinks it always on and it worked fine...


but then i hooked up the VSS for the GPS and it stopped working again, so installed a switch hooked up to the VSS, so i just switch it off if i want to watch movies.

and for the video cd with nero just burn them in data format but will only be able to fit about 15 videos unless you burn them in dvd format 4 gig cd about 60-75 videos depending on sound quality92,128,192 kbps

 

oh and avic d3 has DIVX

wow someone has a temper cuz that cant stand being corrected on something that they f-ed up in the first place.

 

How did I ____ it up? You said there isn't DIVX support and I said there is, you know WHY? Because I have one in my car. All you had to do is keep your mouth shut and gone to google and type in AVIC-D3 and see for yourself before you look like an a$s to others.
