Default in Dash DVD unit e-brake bypass box...how to install?

I got one of those "black box" e-brake bypass units off eBay for my Clarion MAX675VD in dash DVD unit. The box is designed to eliminate the "audio only" feature (video only on when e-brake is enabled) of the DVD playing. I'm confused as to how to install, though. It has 4 wires. Red, Green, Black and White. Red goes to the accessory wire. Green to the ebrake wire. Black is grounded. They say white goes to "remote on". What's that? The only wires I can see which would be possibilities are the 12v main power wire (yellow), amplifier turn on (blue w/white stripe), & illumination (orange w/white stripe). Do any of these sound like it would be for that?

That's the link for the unit if you want to see.

Thanks in advance!

Well...the "remote on" wire is the same one you ran to your amp! your amp runs off a "remote on" wire as well! It is usually small and blue! Just look at your amp for the right color. It should connect right inbetween the pwr and grnd terminals on the amp.

I would say use the amplifier turn on you listed in your initial post, blue w/ white stripe, even if you're not running an amp the wire will still carry the same signal

glad to hear it worked! For future reference "power on" and "remote on" on an amp are the same thing!
